Private School State Meet
Prior to the fall of 1974 non-public schools were not allowed to participate in MSHSL Regional or State Meets.
From 1969 to 1974 the members of the non-public schools competed in their own state meet. Prior to 1969 Catholic Schools and MISL schools competed in their own State Meets.
Non-public schools were allowed to compete in the earliest State Meets (the Northwestern Interscholastic) and Shattuck dominated these earliest meets.
